Met coke，Foundry coke，Semi coke，Carbon coke is used in products requiring high-quality, tough, and resilient carbon. Met coke, limestone, and iron ore are mixed together in a high-temperature furnace, where the high temperatures cause chemical bonding to form steel. Over 95% of the produced met coke is used in the steel industry. Metallurgical coke and foundry coke are made from a mixture of various coals at high temperatures (1300 °C). They are widely used in steelmaking, ferroalloy manufacturing, non-ferrous metal smelting, cast iron manufacturing, and other related metallurgical and foundry industries due to their unique physical and chemical properties: high strength and fixed carbon content, low sulfur content, and low volatile matter content.
